Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 4’ mints almost Rs 2.75 crore at advance booking window: clashes with 'The Bengal Files'

Strong Franchise Recall

The Baaghi series has historically done well at the box office, with Tiger Shroff’s acrobatic stunts, stylized action sequences, and youth-friendly themes striking a chord with audiences. Baaghi 4 continues this legacy, and the strong advance numbers reaffirm the franchise’s pull. Compared to Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files, which has managed about Rs 20 lakh in advance bookings (including block seats), the gap is massive underlining the clear audience preference for a large-scale commercial entertainer in the opening battle.

Star-Studded Ensemble & Inspiration

This time, Tiger is joined by heavyweights and fresh faces alike. The cast includes Sanjay Dutt, who brings his trademark intensity, as well as Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu. The film reportedly draws inspiration from the Tamil action-thriller Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu (2013), which starred Bharath.

The Clash Factor

While The Bengal Files is expected to find takers in urban centers due to its politically charged, history-based narrative, Baaghi 4 is set to dominate mass belts, single screens, and multiplex chains alike. The early booking trends already make it clear that Tiger’s film has the upper hand in this clash, with nearly six times more tickets sold and advance collections close to 60 times higher than its competitor.Tiger Shroff who has made his name thanks to his action flicks is heavily depending on the Baaghi 4 as the actor over the past few years hasn’t delivered a hit.
