‘Saiyaara’ crosses Rs 350 crore at the worldwide box office, the Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda movie is the highest Hindi grosser in UK in 2024-2025

‘Saiyaara’ which released in cinemas worldwide on July 18 has left everyone surprised with its phenomenal box office run, not just in India but globally. The film directed by Mohit Suri, stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. While this is Ahaan’s debut movie, Aneet was seen in many commercials and Kajol starrer ‘Salaam Venky’ earlier, but ‘Saiyaara’ is clearly her breakthrough. The film has crossed Rs 250 crore at the domestic box office on Monday, which is day 11. This is huge for a film with newcomers. It has surpassed the numbers of many big movies like Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ in no time. It has also surpassed the collection of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. And now, it is turning out to be a marvel even overseas. It pulled off a phenomenal second weekend with collections soaring to $3.85 million—nearly double its opening weekend take. With a 10-day overseas total of $8.9 million, the film is all set to become the highest overseas grosser of 2025, and it’s achieved this milestone in under two weeks, according to trade website Box Office India. In Australia, the film had a modest start, opening with just A$25,000 on day one. But it quickly picked up steam and has now crossed the A$900,000 mark. Hitting the A$1 million milestone is now just a matter of time. Meanwhile, in the UK, Saiyaara has broken past the £1 million mark—a significant feat, especially for a film without a major star cast. It now joins the exclusive club of Hindi films like Pushpa 2, Fighter, and Stree 2 that have managed this benchmark across 2024 and 2025. In fact, it’s poised to be the biggest Hindi hit in the UK for this period. The Gulf region continues to be Saiyaara’s strongest market, where it’s raked in nearly $3 million so far. It’s closing in on Eid release Sikandar’s $3.4 million record and is well on track to surpass $4 million there. Globally, the film has already crossed ₹375 crore in just 10 days, and with this momentum. It collected Rs 299 crore gross in India (More than Rs 250crore net) and overseas the collection is now 76.50 crore ($8.9 million). Thus, the total worldwide gross now stands at more than Rs 375 crore.
