‘Mahavtar Narsimha’ which is a mythological action drama has been winning hearts ever since the film released on July 25. While people thought that an animation movie like this, may just come and go as it arrived amidst the euphoria that ‘Saiyaara’ was. This Mohit Suri directorial with Aneet Padda, Ahaan Panday was doing exceptionally well at the box office. However, in no time, ‘Mahavtar Narsimha’ began to see immense growth due to positive word of mouth and eventually gave competition to ‘Saiyaara’.During the second weekend, on Saturday, it made Rs 15.4 crore, on Sunday, the film saw a huge growth and made Rs 23.4 crore of which 17.8 crore came from the Hindi language. Thus, it made more than Rs 34 crore on the second weekend which is huge. Meanwhile, after the weekend, it continued its momentum even on the weekdays during the second week and began third week on a good note. The advantage it got is due to this festive Raksha Bandhan period on Saturday. Thus, it looks like the film will boost more today.On second Monday, the movie made Rs 7.35 crore while on Tuesday, it saw growth and minted Rs 8.5 crore. On Wednesday, it collected Rs 6 while now on Thursday it made Rs 5.35 crore. With that the second week collection of the movie was Rs 73.4 crore, according to Sacnilk and that was around 64 percent more than the collection of the first week. On third Friday, it made Rs 7.5 crore. Meanwhile now on Saturday, which is day 16, the movie has made Rs 7.81 crore till afternoon. It may touch Rs 9 to 10 crore by the night shows. The total collection of the film so far is Rs 133.46 crore.
